ALIS actions

This non-profit-making association has several aims :

to gather all existing data on the locked-in syndrome, in order to better understand the pathology,
to inventory and localize all people with the locked-in syndrome, in order to identify each patient, since there is no relevant survey to date,
to inform the public, the specialists and anybody concerned by this syndrome to keep them informed and de-isolate them,
to help patients and families by offering solutions to care, medical re-education, autonomy and social rehabilitation problems,
to offer means of communication, mainly through computers.
